Re: Rural School Closures Recently I attended the lengthy meeting of the possible closure of our rural school at Nukko Lake elementary. I couldn't help but notice the worried faces of parents and residents alike.

Our community met with the school board and trustees concerning the possible closure of Nukko Lake school. Well over 300 residents attended the meeting and many of them gave presentations.

I am a parent of a child who attends Central Fort George traditional school. I am writing my school trustees with hopes that you continue to support our traditional school program.
