Hike of the week

I have had a continuing complaint with CN ever since they took over BC Rail. The rail traffic has increased by at least 75 trains a day. The noise from the shunting of cars with remote engines is a constant day and night.

'Mmmm, "I'm all shook up," just like Elvis Presley. Even on a wheelchair I have to dodge the potholes. I was crossing by Connaught Hill and City Hall and dodged a big pot hole. I knocked a woman over - she was on her bike. I hope she is okay.

Well it looks like the PG Citizen has done it again. You had absolutely no right stating the names of the people on Holmes Road in your Friday's edition of your newspaper.

It is biking season and I'd like to remind drivers to be careful, bike riders are awakening from hibernation. Since people might not be used to sharing the road, it might be a good idea to be a bit extra vigilant.

We can put blame on city crews for not properly plowing the streets, but the issue also belongs to the people. #1: Keep the drains clear so snow and rain runoff has a place to drain, instead of puddling on the road.

On May 8, I went to the Bay store in Prince George. The purpose was to assist my elderly aunt and cousin to shop for clothing for her.
