Plan to pay it forward

On May 8, I went to the Bay store in Prince George. The purpose was to assist my

elderly aunt and cousin to shop for clothing for her. We were greeted at the front

entrance by a lovely lady who helped us by getting a wheelchair for my aunt and stayed

with us until it was properly adjusted for her. This lady could not have been more helpful or

caring.

When we continued further into the store, we were greeted by a lovely girl named

Bonnie. As she had previously met my cousin who is very disabled, she came forward to say hello and asked us what we were shopping for. She was an absolute little sweetheart . She stayed with us and showed us and explained all the sections and sizing. She didn't rush us as that was impossible in our situation. When it was time to go to the changing room, she cleared the aisles wide enough to accommodate the wheelchair. She stayed right with us to supply anything that had to be exchanged for another size. When our shopping was done, she rang it through the till efficiently .

As we finished up and were leaving, another wonderful employee, Mary, came

to our rescue at the door because the alarm at the door sounded about the sales tags not

being removed. She quickly checked the tags and returned. Apparently it wasn't our

purchase in question. She helped us with our shopping and came to the car to help Auntie

in and took the chair back inside.

This folks is service and heartfelt concern for your community and love for mankind. This

made a day that could have been a trying experience into a nice day. That's what it is all

about. I will pay it forward.

The Bay should be proud of their staff.
