I just wanted to send a big thank you to the chefs and the students at CNC for hosting such a wonderful fundraiser for the families that were affected by the Lakeland Mills fire.

I am sick and tired of entrepreneur types asking for tax holidays when they invest in this city. Used to be if you had some money to invest , you took your chance. Sometimes you lost it and sometimes you made a fortune.

Neil Godbout's contention (editorial, May 15) that there are two irrefutable facts (global temperatures are increasing, burning fossil fuels is the prime reason) is wrong.

To the angel that picked our son up off Domano Boulevard on May 8 after his skateboarding accident and took him to the hospital. Thank you so much - he is fine. He did have to have surgery on his arm and thumb, but all went well.
