We can put blame on city crews for not properly plowing the streets, but the issue also belongs to the people.
#1: Keep the drains clear so snow and rain runoff has a place to drain, instead of puddling on the road.
#2: When putting pavement down, contractors need a crown directing runoff towards the gutter.
#3: The public needs a contract signed by the paving contractors with a warranty (five years?) protecting city taxpayers. Make companies show some accountability for their workmanship and quality.
#4: Public is also at blame. Take a shovel or drive through drain holes that are plugged, and clear them. It only takes a minute.
#5:The snow clearing of city sidewalks should become the responsibility of the residential/ business owners.
#6:Garbage bill by garbage pickup per household. Savings for those who recycle?
#7: Politicians give up your last wage increase until we fix our city.
