The Prince George Public Library is more than just books and a great place for community events and learning. Fantastic people and amazing community work come out of the library, too.

This weeks marks the opening of the second Hunger Games movie, based on the book Catching Fire. Although the books have been out since 2008, I wasn't remotely interested until a couple of weeks prior to the release of the first movie.

So I am glad to see the city is finally deciding to put a crosswalk at 15th and Quinn. Kudos to you. I am sure you have noticed by now that is a very busy road.
