This Liberal government is allowed to ship raw logs from Canada. This is stupid to say the least. I think they are very shortsighted.
We need workers here, not giving our jobs to China or elsewhere and the timber companies can buy the finished lumber here. We have started selling our pulp mills offshore, so if you think our saw mills aren't next, just wait and see.
If this government can see a way to line their pockets, they will. Remember B.C. Rail? How many of them or their friends lined their pockets? Like the fast ferries - gave to their friends for 20 million dollars when they could have sold them for scrap for 70 million. 80 million or more.
But no, they had a chance to line their own pockets. They sure learned from that hood Campbell.
We need jobs here. Who do they think pays the taxes? Remember do not allow one log to go out of B.C. - that includes the USA.
