Pageant seeks Miss Northern B.C. candidates

The Miss B.C. 2010 pageant is looking for candidates in the Prince George area to take the title of Northern B.C., who may become the next Miss B.C. The Miss B.C. pageant is a program for women to learn new skills while developing their self-esteem.

EI collectors remain many

The number of people in the Prince George area collecting employment insurance stood at 2,680 in November, a 50.6-per-cent jump from the year before according to Statistics Canada numbers released Friday. The unemployment rate in November was 12.

Quesnel torch route set
