The Miss B.C. 2010 pageant is looking for candidates in the Prince George area to take the title of Northern B.C., who may become the next Miss B.C.
The Miss B.C. pageant is a program for women to learn new skills while developing their self-esteem. From workshops on self-defense to health and fitness, the contestants will also go through public speaking training and are encouraged to hold a charity fundraiser in their community. Last year's Miss B.C. pageant raised more than $19,000 for Cops for Cancer.
