The national Jgermeister Canada tour starts in Prince George March 1 starring Buckcherry and Papa Roach, with guests My Darkest Days and Bleeker Ridge at CN Centre. Music from Buckcherry's CD All Night Long will be showcased during the event.

Saturday's symphony performance was planned as a homecoming for two talented artists who started their careers in Prince George - conductor Broek Bosma and multi-talented performer Veera Khare Asher.

Coldsnap welcomes exotic royalty to this year's festival. The Sultans of String have been announced as one of the acts local fans will be bowing to when the annual winter concert series opens next month. They will headline a show on Jan.

The Prince George and District Music Festival is preparing to celebrate its 60th anniversary, with organizers are expecting more than 900 participants to enter from communities like Burns Lake, McBride, Vanderhoof and Prince George.
