Spring break dancing

Hundreds of young dancers will strut their stuff at the 34th annual Prince George Dance Festival. Dancers from 14 different studios located from Edmonton to Prince Rupert and from Fort St.

Chopra movie coming to UNBC

Based on the book by Dr. Deepak Chopra, the move The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success will be screened Feb. 26, in Canfor Theatre at UNBC, 7 p.m. start.

Local author wins history award

The city's top annual awards for history were handed out Sunday night. The Jeanne Clarke History Awards are handed out each year by the Prince George Public Library. There are two trophies: the Service Award and the Publication Award.

Play held over

Theatre North West has added two performances of its play Thy Neighbour's Wife on Feb. 23 and 24 to meet demand of tickets. It's the true story of Jennie Hawkes, an Albertan, who in 1915 committed a crime of passion and was sentenced to hang.

Conductor Les Dala brought the audience to its feet at the beginning of PGSO's latest concert. The first few bars emanating from the orchestra were O Canada.
