I am a second year undergraduate student at UNBC. I am writing regarding the faculty strike from a human perspective.

Dear Mr. Editor, you have just gone from the penthouse to the outhouse, in my humble opinion! Your editorial, "Beyond Hope And Proud Of It" was a masterpiece of eloquence and truth.

To the staff at Prince George Citizen, thank you for the excellent coverage of the Canada Winter Games.

As the Official Legacy Sponsor of the 2015 Canada Winter Games, we want to offer our thanks and congratulations to all of those who participated in the Games. When it comes down to it, the Games are all about community.

Now that the 2015 Canada Winter Games that were held in Prince George were a complete success I feel that my two cents are in order. Some of the athletes were successful and others were not but that is beside the point.

Thank you Winter Games for letting me be part of the most amazing event I have been to in 41 years of living here. To all the naysayers about anything we do in Prince George don't read this it will be injurious to your health.

To all the complainers out there, please! Parking, ticket prices, fireworks, restaurants, motels, hotels not full etc.

Happy days for hockey fans in Prince George.

Who was Prince George? The Prince of Wales, Edward became Edward VIII in 1936 and then abdicated.
