To the staff at Prince George Citizen, thank you for the excellent coverage of the Canada Winter Games.
Your reporters covered all the different sports and venues and no doubt spent many an hour standing around in the cold, waiting to speak to a particular person. The interviews of the athletes, coaches, parents, volunteers, planning staff, etc. gave individual and personal perspectives of those involved in the games.
Thanks to the printed schedule each day, I was encouraged to attend four different events. Yes, Prince George citizens can be truly proud of our city. We know we have a hidden gem here and couldn't care less whether we impress Vancouver and Lower Mainland citizens.
