As the final week of the Games came to a close I felt the emotions rising.

Eight years ago I had to unexpectedly use the ER and eventually the ICU unit of our hospital. Being in the state I was, I was not really aware of the care I was given. Flash forward to this year.

To hear Transportation Minister Todd Stone tell it, B.C. is badgering Ottawa every chance it gets for some basic national fairness when it comes to subsidizing ferry systems on the east and west coasts.
