Re: Letter from Education Minister I just loved reading the letter in Saturday's paper from the education minister.

The roundabout at the end of the new Cameron Street Bridge has been in operation for many months now. However, after seeing repeated breach of protocol, it seems that the proper use of the roundabout needs to be re-stated.

I suppose students, parents, and educators throughout British Columbia should be appreciative of our Minister of Education, Margaret MacDiarmid, taking time to "set the record straight" regarding the current state of educational funding.

I love it! - When I drive by the sculpture "Commotion" it makes me smile. To me it depicts happiness and a sense of community. Look at them all holding hands and dancing together, who couldn't smile. Good work GBIA, and I like your work Mr. Muntener.

I had been waiting for the call for a few years but it never came. It had been bugging me a little why they didn't call, but I kept the faith. Then, out of the blue, I the call came.

My husband and I own a small retail/service store in town called The Zen Garden. It is a place of wellness, focused on helping others find healing for the body, mind and soul.

Some call it "trash," "refuse," or "waste," but it's just plain "garbage.

To the wonderful person or persons who felt the urge to cut the lock and steal our granddaughter's bike from her school (Central Fort George). We had to fight in court to have her with us, and to give her a life others take for granted.

A recent editorial incorrectly implied that the HST is not revenue neutral because a local fast food chain now remits more tax to Victoria. Restaurants used to pay PST on many of the goods they purchase for their operations.
