At Gateway and Parkside Complex Care Facilities we held a silent auction during our large family socials earlier this December. We would like to thank everyone for their generous gifts for our semiannual fund raiser at our "Family Tree Trim Event.

Well I'll be damned. Mike de Jong is going to try to get the voting age lowered to 16 years. I guess he thinks because he thought of it, he'd get them on his list. Good luck with that. Why is anyone in a hurry to take over control of B.C.

If you really want to spruce up our city, take a lesson from other cities that are lucky enough to be situated by rivers. Clean up the area. Establish walking trails with benches. Offer riverboat rides.
