Some research should be done about this section of highway ("Collision kills three," The Citizen, Dec. 15.) The winter maintenance for this section has been atrocious in the past few years.

I wanted to take the time to pass on a heartfelt thanks to the many people who have stopped me on the street, malls, emailed or called with their kind words of support.

I am dismayed, no, disgusted with many of the recent articles I have read/seen in The Citizen. I refer specifically to the pre-sentence hearing of Joseph Fowlie and secondly to the photo of the tragic accident scene at Jutland Road.

Bravo! Once again The Citizen has shown its compassion to the public.

About a year ago, there was an article in The Citizen featuring the Gift of Hope charity, in which I was interviewed.

Those who regularly drive Highway 16 West have been begging for an investigation into its winter maintenance, which they claim is woefully lacking.
