By promising to push for a merit-pay system for teachers, Kevin Falcon demonstrated that he believes in self-promotion, union-baiting and political polarization.

This morning I was watching BCTV and with a great deal of sadness the news that the small animal farm in Stanley Park is closing. The staff said there is a shortfall of $220,000 to operate the farm for a year.
