If you really want to spruce up our city, take a lesson from other cities that are lucky enough to be situated by rivers.
Clean up the area. Establish walking trails with benches. Offer riverboat rides.
Have a hotel and restaurants overlooking the rivers. Make the area something that tourists would want to see, and would come back to.
Forget the performing arts centre. No one wants it.
Utilize our natural rivers and the beauty of the North instead.
