SUV hit pedestrians

A middle-aged woman and her elderly mother were struck by a newer white or tan SUV in the parking lot of Sprucelamnd Mall in front of the Dollarama store. The two women sustained minor bruising and did not seek medical attention.

MVA between car and cyclist

A car hit a cyclist in the 800 block of Ahbau Street Friday at about 8 a.m. The male cyclist, 21, was transported to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Brave grads

Guns stolen during B&E

A locked gun cabinet containing five firearms was stolen from a residence in the North Nechako Road area Saturday morning between 7 and 8. No one was home at the time.

Internet scam

The RCMP in Burns Lake send out an alert about an Internet scam that involved the purchase of a car. On Feb. 4 a caller told police they had purchased a car on ebay motors that was said to be in the Vancouver area.
