In the last few days, the Prince George RCMP have received approximately six reports of copper wire being stolen from various locations in the Prince George area. These thefts are occurring during the night.

The B.C. Supreme Court has granted an interim injunction that prevents Canfor from logging in an area west of Prince George important to the Wet'suwet'en First Nation.

Rural residences were the target of at least two break-and-enter incidents on Monday. One of the break-ins was on Telachick Road west of the city. Stolen from that home was a Wii game console, two video cameras, a cell phone and gasoline.
