Industrial acid producer Chemtrade Logistics Income Fund (TSX:CHE.UN) has signed a deal to buy pollution cleanup company Marsulex Inc. for about $419.5 million.

City-owned asphalt plant examined

The City of Prince George is examining building its own asphalt plant as a way to combat the city's perennial pothole problem. Coun. Brian Skakun said the city needs to find creative ways to tackle its road maintenance.

Sani-dump reopens

The city's sani-dump facility at the Quinn Street transfer station reopened on Friday. The transfer station, located at 1687 Quinn Street, is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday. Sundays it is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
