The Prince George firefighters will be hosting a charitable barbecue on June 3 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m, on the front steps of City Hall to raise money for the BC Professional Firefighters Burnfund. The Firefighters Burnfund is a registered charity that provides life saving, life supporting, and life enriching services to burn survivors in British Columbia. Firefighters will be serving a burger, pop, and chips for just $5, the proceeds of which will be added to the funds raised by a Firefighters Burnfund cycle tour from Prince George to Quesnel and back, planned for later in June.
