Mill to restart

Canfor Corp. announced Monday it will be re-opening its Quesnel sawmill in June to exclusively service markets in China, a move that will put 155 workers back on the job. Traditionally, sawmills in north-central B.C.

City taxes going up

City council picked a tax structure for this coming year, charging less of the annual municipal bill to heavy industry owners and adding more onto the bills of homeowners, business owners and especially light industrial owners.

Airport making progress on securing deals for next phase of development
