Dr. Greg Halseth, a geography professor and Canada Research chair at UNBC, has penned a book about rural economies.
The Next Rural Economies stemmed from a workshop Dr. Halseth led two years ago at UNBC. It brought together rural and small town experts from seven countries and more than 60 officials from northern B.C. to share their perspectives on rural development.
