Inconvenient democracy

Inconvenient democracy

It is clear that the anti-HST movement has proven troublesome to the Liberals and their corporate friends. First the Liberals waited until after the polls closed in the last election to let the voting public know they would be introducing the HST.
Citizen: You make me sick!

Citizen: You make me sick!

The front page of the Aug. 16 Citizen was truly in the worst taste. Photos that graphic have no place for the public to see. Do you not think think friends and family of a murder victim should be spared the horrible sights you displayed.

I find it difficult to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the pictures corresponding to the Oak Street incident on the front page of the Aug. 16 paper. I was so repulsed by the graphic photos I immediately threw the paper in the trash.
