Mind boggling

It is mind boggling that The Prince George Citizen, a newspaper which has won national journalism awards, would print a picture of a deceased person on the front page of the paper. The article was completely sensationalized. I couldn't even bear to read the entire thing. It is disgusting and disrespectful to print a photograph of a murder victim, complete with a pool of blood near his head. What were you thinking? Where is your respect, your basic human compassion for this person? He is someone's son and brother. He could be someone's husband, father, or best friend. Did you even pause for a moment to think how this picture would make any of those people feel? Did you even stop and consider that this person's life has been violently snatched away, and no one deserves to die like that? Left to lie on the pavement while news-hungry reporters and photographers salivate at the chance to tragically showcase yet another example of the dark side of Prince George? Disgusting. I regrettably looked at the front page of today's newspaper and it made me feel sick to my stomach. How could you print this picture? Why should children have to see it? I will never buy your newspaper or support your corporation in any manner ever again. Shame on you.
