Bruce Strachan's analysis of the HST issue is not very well informed. This issue is about a $1.8 Billion dollar tax shift from business and corporations, to consumers, an approximate $600 to $2000 yearly tax increase.

The Enbridge pipeline is a risky venture which will endanger our environment while creating few if any jobs. It also restricts our opportunity to employ ourselves as refiners.

In a world that only seems to report on the bad kids in the world, I would like to give huge praise to some truly wonderful young people from Prince George that I met this past weekend in Valemount.

Now, I want to and generally do patronize local businesses. At times, I do so even when I know that the price I am paying is a bit higher than I might find at other retailers, especially those on the Internet.

My wife and I moved to Prince George from Hope in July of 1978. About two miles past Cache Creek we noticed a sign that someone erected that read "You Are Now Leaving the Province of British Columbia".
