With everything being commented on about P.G.s latest murder i feel it necessary to send a very heartfelt thank you to a woman named Tammy and her husband for helping out my husband when our daughter took a real bad spill on her bike.

Shame on You- for your choice of picture, of a deceased person on the front page. Have you no respect for the families of the deceased? D. Bond Prince George

Your editorial missed the mark and lacked understanding of why there has been an outcry about this photo. No, we are not sticking our heads in the sand and trying to ignore the gang situation in P.G. We can see what is happening in our city.

For the past week or so, I have been hearing on the radio that Prince George wants to host the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

I am sure I am not the only one who would admit to being initially amused by the report of the senior citizen robbing the Scotiabank on Friday. The front page on Saturday's Citizen was another matter.

I would like to express my dismay with the front page photos in Monday's paper.

"Treat others as you would like to be treated." It's really a simple concept that I guess some of our mothers have not been able to get across to us.

Re: Murder in the VLA The scenario of witnessing violent crime and witnesses being fearful of providing information to help prosecute the guilty is an all too common scenario in gang-related crimes.

The front page picture on Monday's Citizen was disrespectful and inappropriate.

I am shocked at the Citizen's brazen lack of publishing standards.
