I think, Mr. Loughery ("Biggest Threat to Canada comes from Uncle Sam"),that you have been watching too much NBC and other main stream propagandists. Tea Party supporters are a grassroots movement of ordinary Americans of all wage brackets,color, and religious beliefs. They believe in small government,free enterprise,and personal responsibility. They believe that the government has no right owning automobile manufacturing companies or dictating what CEO's of any private companies are paid. They also think the current administration is spending the country into bankruptcy and leaving a massive debt on the shoulders of their children and grandchildren. They are small "c" conservatives that are a real threat to many Democrats and to some Republicans, hence the somewhat desperate attempt to demonize the movement as racist and religious fanaticism. But you are right that the biggest threat to Canada is Uncle Sam (i.e. the current government in the US) because as the US goes so goes Canada and with the Obama administration, it doesn't look good.
