I am dismayed, no, disgusted with many of the recent articles I have read/seen in The Citizen.
I refer specifically to the pre-sentence hearing of Joseph Fowlie and secondly to the photo of the tragic accident scene at Jutland Road.
Time and time again, I see that you have an inability to report/photograph in a respectful, or sensitive manner.
Your ability to report crime and accidents in a way which preserves the dignity of victims or family members of lost loved ones is woefully lacking.
There is a blatant disregard for people who have suffered at the hands of others.
What was once a good paper, years ago, has now turned into a trashy tabloid.
I won't buy your newspaper regularly, as I continue to be saddened by the degradation of victims and citizens of our town in your thoughtless reporting.
