After reading your headline on the review of council pay in this morning's Citizen I notice some of the review panel are former councillors. Well now, isn't that going to create an unbiased review... NOT.

Happy spring everyone. Yay! The snow is melting and our roads and parking lots are back. Maybe we could try parking and driving between the lines. I realize that some parts of the roads are a bit covered and parking lots have piles, but at least try.

Over the last few months, the political spotlight has been focused on northern British Columbia, as candidates in the BC Liberal leadership race have attempted to curry favour with northern party members and constituents.

Boy, people sure missed something historic at the meeting of the College of New Caledonia's board on March 25. The board turned down the college administration's recommendation to raise student tuition and other fees.

This is an appeal to the City of Prince George for some more garbage cans and more frequent pick ups, particularly if one could be added between the two entrances or exits of Moriarty and also one between Moriarty and Trent.

I found it interesting and disturbing that both your editorial and your major opinion piece in today's Citizen addressed the coming election as a matter of the budget.

Mr. Kluge's March 19 letter criticizing the school children's march over the "Harper Government" directive doesn't make it clear what left wing means.

I just wanted to bring to mind an issue that needs to be dealt with and it is especially imperative now as our baby boomers all head into retirement age.

Who came up with the idea of a "last drink" defence ["Drunk driving rap missed closing time, says Judge", March 23]? I'm sure I'm not the only reader who was stunned and knocked (almost) speechless by this ridiculous concept.
