In the world of media, transparency is a cloudy term. If you ask a journalist, transparency is the honest and full disclosure of documents, behaviour, conflicts of interest and all manner of information pertaining to a particular issue.

Uh oh, another political mouthpiece trying to tell us that the numbers are wrong. I am talking about the part where the government disagrees with the percentage of live-at-home minimum wage earners.

Thanks to the surprise snow this morning I could clearly see the footprints that led to all the cars in the Morgan Ridge Trailer Park. Looks like someone was going up to all the vehicles checking to see if they were locked or not.

Going around all the potholes, I'm using a lot more gas than usual with the extra kilometres added on. Someone was on the way to Pine Centre and frantically trying to avoid the potholes happened to look over at a road sign to find himself in Hixon.

I'd like to send along a heartfelt thank you to the kind person(s) who took my small dog into Ospika Vets on March 31 after she was hit on Ospika Boulevard. She escaped the backyard and although we were hot on she tail, the worst happened.

While I applaud the efforts of Sushi Factory Sendo in their support of the victims of the Japanese earthquake, I find it appalling that no flags were raised for victims of other recent natural disasters, Haiti, Chile, Thailand, etc.

I am just curious as to why the city would raise our taxes, but then cut the snow removal budget? It is not like they are out there doing a proper job to begin with.
