I just wanted to send a big thank you to the chefs and the students at CNC for hosting such a wonderful fundraiser for the families that were affected by the Lakeland Mills fire.
The food was delicious, the music was grand, the cupcakes were mouth-watering and the silent auction was wonderful.
I sat at a table with some of the wives whose husbands worked at Lakeland and I don't mind telling you some of their stories were heart-wrenching.
Thank you again, CNC chefs and students. You know the true meaning of doing a good deed.
