At the annual City Champs tournament held at the Prince George Tennis Club last weekend winners were crowned in men's singles and doubles and women's singles and mixed doubles.

Kings ink former NW Giant

Adam Helewka is the latest player to sign with the Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League. The six-foot, 165 pound forward committed to attend the Kings' training camp and exhibition season at the end of August.

PGYSA U18 boys off to provincial championship

The Prince George Youth Soccer Association under-18 boys advanced to the provincial championship last weekend in Williams Lake with a pair of wins. Prince George knocked off Quesnel 4-1 before edging the hosts 2-1.
