On March 1 Smithers RCMP responded to a call from a trailer in the Laidlaw Trailer Park where an unresponsive man was suffering from stab wounds. The 30-year-old was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery, but died a short time later.

Man wanted on outstanding warrant

Williams Lake RCMP are searching for Wade Frank, 21. Police there said Frank is wanted on an outstanding warrant "for assault stemming from an incident that occurred in Williams Lake" in November.

Prince George RCMP were called to an assault incident in the 1900 block of Upland Street at a 12:25 p.m. Monday.
