The Safari family will revisit Pine Centre Mall in Prince George with live critters that do not contravene any city bylaws.
The free shows will be offered March 16, 17 and 18 at the mall by Safari Jeff and Sharon, said Sonya Hunt, Pine Centre Mall manger.
Safari Jeff and Shannon Prosise have been touring all over Canada for 12 years educating children and families with their special friends which include snakes, spiders and turtles, to help spread the word on conservation through an interactive, live, and entertaining stage presentation.
They are a rare touring show that has been featured on television shows and at various wildlife parks around the country.
The show was booked at Pine Centre in Oct. last year, but it was cancelled because some species Prosise had with him contravened the local city bylaws, said Hunt.
"Children showed up for the show and had to go home disappointed," said Hunt, who assures residents that will not happen this year.
"Now Jeff has revamped his show and will not be bringing those live critters that are not allowed," said Hunt.
After the show participants are encouraged to stick around for a chance to chat with Safari Jeff and Shannon as well as hold and touch some of the critters. Also available after each show are books from the Great Green Adventure series which can be autographed by the couple.
