The B.C. Liberals have advised mineral exploration companies that they can refuse to pay fees demanded by some First Nations for access to work sites where provincial permits have already been issued.

I agree with the two recent letters regarding the mess that was made of the lovely trees along River Road. It was a scenically pleasing drive along the river, the berm at Lakeland, to the Cottonwood Park and the Railway Museum.

I've made the drive down Queensway many a time and upon reflection of what I've seen, always wondered why Prince George has never made more of the beautiful waterfront that we have.
