This editorial is an updated version of a column that first appeared in the Feb. 16, 2007 edition of The Citizen: Thank God for the Dixie Chicks.

Thank you for your recent story about lawn bowling in Prince George. It described the sport quite well. I would like to follow-up with a couple of points that may be of interest to your readers.

The Liberal government is making a hash of marijuana legalization by embarking on a needless consultation exercise led by a task force of well-meaning volunteers. Four U.S. states made cannabis legal in 2012 and others are vocally following suit.

This letter is my opinion. Call me a racist, call me a bigot - most of all, I'm a Bohunk. I accept full responsibility for this letter and do not pass the buck to The Citizen for it. Maybe you think that Donald Trump is a fool.

Oh horrors! Julia Serup has once again found nefarious plots in Ottawa (Letters, June 24). Unfortunately, she is - as usual - a bit extreme in her interpretation of events.
