Two letters to the editor caught my attention this week. The first, written by Mike Hawryluk on July 5, starts out badly with the assumption that "if you think Donald Trump is a fool, then you must think that Justin Trudeau is a genius.

In the beginning, she won everything and her first name was either Alyxandria or Alyxis.

Tomorrow, B.C. voters will be just 300 days from the next provincial election. In politics, that's an eternity. So much can change between now and May 9, 2017. On the other hand, the ground work done now will set the stage for the campaign ahead.
