On reading reviews of a major Lower Mainland newspaper editorial on the B.C. NDP decision to continue construction of Site C, I came across a new unofficial word that describes many lower Mainland residents - cidiots.

I've lived here my whole life and smelled some pretty serious pollution. I know we're doing everything we can to eliminate ppm, but moving backwards on gases. I think sulfur and other gases are being elevated.

People, in particular older people, need exercise. Outdoors, of course, is the most enjoyable.

The homeless situation seems to grow worse and worse in Prince George and surrounding areas. Yet on our doorstep is an abandoned facility that seems to hold a lot of promise as a solution.

There being only three publishing dates left in anno domini 2017, we the pundits must be judicious as to our final topics.

Thankfully, Citizen columnist and UNBC professor Todd Whitcombe plans on writing about proportional representation most weeks leading up to next November's provincial referendum.

Re: The Power and Politics of Love, Editorial, Nov. 18. Seems that editor Neil Godbout has been wooed by the NDP federal leader Jagmeet Singh and his "banner of love.
