On reading reviews of a major Lower Mainland newspaper editorial on the B.C. NDP decision to continue construction of Site C, I came across a new unofficial word that describes many lower Mainland residents - cidiots. On a Google search I found the Urban Dictionary site that gives a humorous and very long description on what a city idiot is.
Cidiot is an excellent choice of a combination noun/adjective to describe Lower Mainland residents that have no respect or comprehension of resource contributions to their huge cities and inflated egos.
