Uh oh, another political mouthpiece trying to tell us that the numbers are wrong.
I am talking about the part where the government disagrees with the percentage of live-at-home minimum wage earners.
Here are some numbers: 160 hours (two full paychecks) times $8 an hour is $1,280 per month less 25 per cent tax is $960. Your average rent is $700 (not including utilities) leaving you with $260. Of this $260 you have to get to work, (transit would be $6 per day times 20 days or if you have a car its equivalent in gas insurance, maintenance) you need to eat ($10 per day).
How can there not be at least 90 per cent staying at home? Small wonder that this government has a budget shortfall.
