If the police get robbed, who do they call? Last week city council mugged the Prince George RCMP for $1.2 million during a budget meeting. In fairness the RCMP budget still rose by $1 million to $20.

Freedom to read week is to allow people to read the books that have been banned or challenged over the years and to celebrate the fact that we can in fact read these materials.

Mr. Mihlar is certainly a very innovative thinker! Imagine, those of us who live in the north, and that can be anywhere in northern Canada, are unaware that being the perennial drawers of water and hewers of wood is the future we should strive for.

I would like to point out to the mayor of Vanderhoof as an owner of property in Prince George we all pay taxes for school, transportation, recreation, etc. That is part of being a property owner.
