The 19th annual Prince George Kids' Fun Triathlon is Sunday, starting at 9 a.m. The swim, bike and run event starts at the Four Seasons Leisure Pool and finishes at Fort George Park.

Stefan Zwiers of the North Capital Judo Club won a bronze medal at the 2013 Canadian Judo Championship in Richmond during the four-day weekend competition. Zwiers competed in the 100 kilogram division.

The rain let up long enough to for Team B.C. to make a statement at the Continental Amateur Baseball Association Under-12 World Series. They proved they were one of the best teams in the 20-team tournament in Mason, Ohio.

The Greater Strides Hockey Academy is skating into Prince George for an aboriginal summer hockey camp Aug. 16-18 at CN Centre. The camp is free and lunches are provided.
