Jason Kerswill will take the position of Director of Athletics and Recreation at the University of Northern British Columbia Aug. 23.

The University of Northern British Columbia announced the hiring of a new director of athletics and recreation on Tuesday.

His task is to promote the development of all things sporting at UNBC. That doesn't mean Jason Kerswill plans to make sweeping changes when he arrives in Prince George next month.
