A Vanderhoof youth is missing and a full search of ground and water is underway at Hogsback Lake, about half an hour south of the Omineca town.

An environmental incident on Highway 16 had Vanderhoof RCMP doing some slick work to clean up the mess. Vanderhoof RCMP Cpl. Darin Underhill said it happened May 19 between the hours of 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
