So ever since I started working for Hospice, I’ve taken a very close look at what I spend on my clothes.
I used to spend $50 or more on one shirt.
I would buy $100 dresses and never wear them. My jeans were all more than $100, and my Lulus were the same.
Now, I see the same clothing come through my resale stores daily.
Items I used to spend hundreds on, we sell for just pennies.
I did a complete wardrobe overhaul this weekend for about $50.
Shopped at both of our stores on a Saturday and ended up with some fantastic new outfits.
The most expensive outfit I can put together from my fashion finds is $9.
That includes pants, shirt and jacket!
So please, the next time you need a wardrobe update, pop into your neighborhood thrift store.
You may be pleasantly surprised!
I’m also going to post a daily video for the next week (Nov. 9-13) on my fantastically cheap wardrobe makeover.
Hope you enjoy!
