The Sufferin' Bastards will be accompanying Ross Neilsen for a bit of Redemption at Nancy O's. The Redemption Tour will see the band travel from Halifax to Tofino and back, making a stop in P.G. Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.

Meat Loaf will entertain Prince George this summer with special guest, Lisa Bouchelle. The legendary rocker will perform at the CN Centre Wednesday, Aug. 4 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets this Friday at 10 a.m.

There will be a Scotch tasting event hosted at North 54, 1493 Third Avenue on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The piper will be Ian MacInnis and entertainment will be provided by Kyra Sinclair. Tickets are $45 at North 54.

The Yalenka Ukrainian dancers attended the 16th Annual B.C. Ukrainian cultural festival in Mission May 1. The festival included 12 Ukrainian dance groups from B.C. and Seattle.
