Prince George Conservatory presents the Chamber Salon performance called Shall We Dance? Saturday at St. Andrew's United Church at 7 p.m.

This is the second performance in a series where the Prince George Chamber Salon offers the community a variety of intimate solo and small ensemble performances throughout the year.

The salon will include a Faculty Recital Series where the Prince George Conservatory of Music staff will share their talents with the public, their students and families. Proceeds from the performances will fund continuing education and professional development activities for the faculty.

The conservatory's faculty consists of principal musicians with the Prince George Symphony Orchestra and professional community musicians known for their high standards of performance and instruction.

Instructors who will be performing during the shows are Ariane Nelles, flute; Grace Tsang, violin; Barbara Parker, piano; Sebastian Ostertag, cello; Angela Alba, piano; Jose Delgado-Guevara, violin and Nil Rommel, piano.

Tickets are $20 each or $40 for groups of any size and are available at the door at 3555 Fifth Avenue.

The conservatory has just launched a new fundraiser to purchase a piano for the school. Patrons can choose to purchase their favourite piano key for $35. The conservatory has fashioned a super-sized piano on the wall of the waiting area with secret prizes attached to many of the keys. There are 36 gift certificates to be won with a minimum value of $25 each. The most popular key is middle C and it will be auctioned off to the highest bidder who will receive six gift certificates.

Piano keys can be purchased during office hours Monday to Friday from 2 to 6 p.m.
