I and many other people are very unhappy with the changes that have occurred (at The Citizen) in the last while. It seems that you are trying to upset everyone so they will go online to read your paper.

On Jan. 5, I stupidly left my purse in a shopping cart in the parking lot at Save-On Foods in the Hart and drove away. Lucky for me, it was turned in to Save-On with everything intact.

The Ministry of Environment's recent announcement that B.C. schools and hospitals will be using solar panels to heat water and improve their energy efficiency is very welcome news.

A request to snowshoers on Tabor cross country ski trails. It is great to see more people out on snow shoes discovering and enjoying the Tabor x-country trails. I do both snow shoeing and cross country skiing, but on Tabor I purely ski.

To the citizens of Prince George and all of the provinces: We have now all been told that our regular light bulbs are now obsolete. The new bulbs now are dangerous to our health and well-being. They're not safe for our families.

A post of praise for a service often overlooked in our community. Northern Health operates a bus service for Northern residents who must travel to Kamloops or Vancouver for medical reasons.

Wednesday morning around 8 a.m. as I was driving along Queensway to take my cat to the vet. I saw not one or two vehicles covered with snow but seven.

I would like to clarify a misconception in a Jan. 4 letter to the editor written by Mr. Stan New which incorrectly states that B.C.'s carbon tax is costing the local school district more money than its southern counterparts.

I read your article by Christine Skorepa "Giving to the forgotten - Gift of Hope program aids those with mental health issues" in the Prince George Citizen on Dec. 24, and I want to thank you for raising the issues of mental illness.
